Degree Description: Kaplan University offers an exceptional degree program that is designed to mold students into efficient leaders and prepare them to launch careers in the competitive business world. Students pursuing this degree will be required to complete 60 credit hours of core courses that are focused on business administration, such as business perspectives, business communications, and business analytics, just to name a few. To earn a concentration in project management, students must then complete an additional 16 credit hours in courses that teach students how to master the planning and execution of projects. A total of 76 credit hours must be taken to earn this degree. The cost is $441 per credit hour. Financial aid is available for eligible students and may help to reduce costs. This degree should take full-time students about one to two years to complete.

Project managers held about 551,000 jobs in 2008, the majority of which were self-employed, according to the Bureau’s most recent statistics. On average, project managers earn between $60,650 and $107,140.
