About Indiana Tech Online Indiana Tech is new to the field of online education, having only celebrated the online program’s 1-year anniversary in 2008. However, with the way that Indiana Tech has expanded its campus since the school’s inception in 1930, they can only look to continue to move forward and offer more and more online degree programs in the coming years. Indiana Tech’s online programs are offered through, Blackboard, a commonly used interface chosen by many of the online colleges and universities. Here, students can log in, access their coursework, read various materials, view lectures via streaming video, and participate in class discussions via bulletin boards and chat rooms. Indiana Tech also offers their students another portal to gain information which allows students to view their class schedule, curriculum requirements, and even view an unofficial transcript. Announcements and the students’ e-mail accounts are also available through this homepage. Indiana Tech offers accelerated 10 week classes Most online classes at Indiana Tech last 5 weeks for undergraduates and 6 weeks for graduate students, which is more accelerated than your typical college schedule, so, students do have the option of completing their degrees sooner than a basic on-campus 4-year college degree program.
